The seamless square rectangular pipe is a long strip of steel with a hollow section and no joints around the periphery. The inside of the tube is hollow and has a certain cross-sectional area. It is widely used as a pipeline for transporting fluids, such as pipelines for transporting oil, natural gas, gas, water and certain solid materials. When the ring section is subjected to internal or external radial pressure, the force is relatively uniform. Therefore, most steel pipes are round pipes. However, round pipes also have certain limitations. For example, under the condition of plane bending, round pipes are not as strong as square and rectangular pipes. Some agricultural machinery skeletons, steel and wood furniture, etc., are commonly used.
Seamless square rectangular pipe is a hollow square section light thin-walled steel pipe, also known as steel cold bending section. It is made of Q235 hot-rolled or cold-rolled strip or coil as the base material, which is formed by cold bending and then high-frequency welding. In addition to the thickening of the wall thickness of the hot-rolled seamless square rectangular pipe, its corner size and edge straightness have reached or even exceeded the level of the resistance-welded cold-formed square tube. It has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good weldability, cold and hot working properties and corrosion resistance, and has good low temperature toughness.
